This course will give practitioners understanding of what Autism is and what are appropriate strategies for dealing with the traits and behaviours of children on the Autism Spectrum

Learning Objectives:

  • To know what Autism is and to recognise the traits shown by children on the spectrum
  • To develop understanding of the needs of children who have Autism
  • To develop confidence in supporting children on the Autism Spectrum
  • To explore ideas for appropriate interventions
