Getting ready for the revised EYFS

EYFS Parents Guide now available!

The Parent’s Guide to the EYFS was launched yesterday, 19th June 2012. The guide has been written after the recommendations made by Dame Clare Tickell. Since the launch of the revised EYFS in March we have all been eagerly awaiting this guide. It has been developed by 4 Children who have worked with various groups of parents. The aim of the guide is to help you explain the EYFS framework to parents and share how they can support their child’s learning and development.
The guide was published yesterday and is available to download from the Foundation Years website The Parents guide is available in a word document here is the direct link Parents Guide. This guide has space for you to add further information such as your setting name and logo and how parents can find out more about the EYFS Framework and how your setting delivers it also how parents can keep in touch with their child’s learning and development.
